Biography

João Carvalhosa is the Coordinator of the Strategic Planning Office at Gebalis. With extensive experience in housing policies, he has collaborated with Housing Europe since 2004, in various roles, as President of the Social Committee, Vice-President of the Public Sector Committee, and member of the Electoral Committee. Member of the Coordination Committee of the European Network for Housing Research and President of CECODHAS.P and SGI Portugal. Since 2002 is an elected member of the Parish Council of Belém, in Lisbon, where he currently serves as Mayor.
