Guided tour of Marina del Prat Vermell and the Illa Acer public housing development
This tour will give you a first-hand look at the evolution of Marina del Prat Vermell, one of the city’s neighborhoods undergoing transformation, as well as the challenges and opportunities involved in developing new affordable housing.
The itinerary includes a presentation on the urban planning of the area, a guided walk around the neighborhood, and a visit to the Illa Acer public housing development, a project that is representative of the city’s municipal housing policies.
The tour is open exclusively to HOWS Barcelona or Smart City Expo World Congress attendees.

Available dates:
- November 3 from 16:45h to 18:15h.
- November 5 from 16:45h to 18:15h.
Program:
- Introductory presentation on the urban transformation of Marina del Prat Vermell.
- Guided walk around the area.
- Visit to the Illa Acer public housing development.
Meeting point:
- Meeting Point at the entrance to Hall 2 at 16:20h (Fira Gran Via venue).
- The tour will start at 16:45h at La Casa de l’Agricultura (Carrer d’Ulldecona, 21-33).
Transport:
- Round-trip transport from Fira Gran Via venue is included.
- The bus departs at 16:20h from Fira Gran Via venue.
